The artwork on this page is part of a larger collection of Clowns and Faces dating back to the early 1990's. Most were created using modeling clay, paper, and/or cardboard, mounted on canvas or masonite. Making these pieces are very time consuming; the clay has to be 'bone dry' and sanded before the first layer of paint is applied.
